I can't wait for this movie to come out. I think it comes out Mother's Day weekend. I'm hoping we can find a sitter so we can make it to the theater. Check out the trailer here. I'm pretty sure that watching this movie will make me:
1) thankful for everything I have, and
2) relax a bit more. :)

Movies Worth Watching (for FREE!!)
My friend Heather posted this promo code for a FREE Redbox rental on Facebook this weekend:
And lastly,
Gran Torino. (Again, click on the title to watch the trailer.)
When you watch this movie you have to be prepared for a lot of course language, but if you can get past that, it's a really really good movie. Interesting plot lines revolving around family roles, cultural roles, the process of aging, etc. make you think about a lot of things. And even though it's more of a drama-type movie, we found ourselves laughing...a lot. Clint Eastwood is funny in this one.
So there you have it. Christy's picks for the summer. If you watch any of them, let me know what you think! (And for what it's worth, Tim really enjoyed all of these movies too...just so you know you're not just getting a female-only perspective.) :)

Visit your local Redbox and enter in that code for a free DVD rental (before July 7th.)
We have been fortunate enough to rent some decent movies lately. Sometimes it's so hit and miss, but for whatever reason we've watched 3 movies within the last few weeks that I would actually watch again, and recommend to friends. So if you want to use the free code above, and you're wondering what to check out, try one of the following:
Not Easily Broken (click on the title to view the trailer.)
We saw the preview for this movie when we rented Faith Like Potatos, a faith-based film that was decent, but slow, and the acting was sub-par. Along similar lines as Fireproof, Not Easily Broken is a great movie to get you thinking about marriage, with Biblical principles mentioned throughout. The gospel was not blatantly shared in the movie, but apparently they get into this more in the special features. (I went to bed while Tim watched those!) And the acting in NEB was much more impressive than either Fireproof or Faith Like Potatoes. Overall a great flick.
Martian Child
I think this movie falls into the category of romantic comedy, but it was quirky and thought-provoking as well. As a couple who recently received our foster-parenting license, it was really interesting to watch John Cusack go through the joys and pains of getting to know his potential-adoptive son. Surprisingly, we saw quite a few things in the movie that were discussed in our foster-parenting training, so that was neat to see a portrayal of how those could play out in an actual situation.
